Visit Holkham Hall for the Outlaw Half Triathlon, which takes place every year. The event attracts competitors from all over to take part in a 1.2-mile swim in the iconic Holkham lake, a 56-mile bike ride around the local villages, and finally a 13.l-mile run around the beautiful grounds of Holkham. From November-March we welcome the Pink-Footed Geese from Iceland setting with us for the winter. During high tide in Spring and Autumn you might also be lucky enough to spot the "Whirling Waders". Looking for a fun and free way to stay active and meet new people? Look no further than Hunstanton Promenade parkrun! Every Saturday at 9:00 am, runners of all ages and abilities gather to take on the scenic 5k course along the beautiful Hunstanton coastline. The parkrun is organized by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, and registration is easy and can be done online in advance.
