Hunstanton Christmas Day Swim

25th December 2025

Consider a trip to Hunstanton for the Christmas Day Swim, an extraordinary tradition that captivates the brave and bold. Join the community at 11 am at the central promenade for one of Norfolk's largest festive events, where hundreds dare the chilly North Sea plunge. This event, with a history spanning over 60 years, not only draws large crowds cheering for the daring (or perhaps slightly bonkers) participants but also supports charitable causes, adding warmth to the winter sea air.

RSPB Snettisham Spectaculars

From November-March we welcome the Pink-Footed Geese from Iceland setting with us for the winter. During high tide in Spring and Autumn you might also be lucky enough to spot the "Whirling Waders". This is where high tides cause birds to flock from the mudflats and take to the skies. Be sure to visit the RSPB Snettisham page for times and dates.
